Actually, Jay is a meteorologist from Pennsylvania who moved to France in March 1998. I live in Toulouse with my wife and dogs and work at a university here doing ungodly things with computer weather models. I also hang out on IRC, but that should come as no surprise to anyone. I am a football (soccer) fan and have little interest in any other sports (so being in France for the summer of 1998 proved interesting). I support Ajax Amsterdam first, the Dutch national team second, and the US national team third. But right now I am off to see some other obscure and interesting place in France.
