The undernet channel #Pub is what you make it. If you come into the channel and find it fun, it is because you have actively decided to participate! Thank you for that participation! The channel is nothing without you. Just as this little stop on the world wide web ... it would not be here unless people took the time, energy, etc. to get it gathered and posted.
Many folks have volunteered, (or been volunteered :) for special jobs or tasks. If you see something that you think you can do to help make the #PUB a better place, or have suggestions on the web pages PLEASE don't be shy! We need your help to make this our spot ... our local ... our place!
Special thanks to TvMan for motivating us to a new webpage! Due to various circumstances none of us got around to it til recently. He has provided (and will continue to provide) a lot of good suggestions and layout ideas. A lot of what you see on these pages is the direct result of his enthusiasm and ingenuity.
SuzW gets a bouquet of flowers for the great job she has done in collecting all the bios, pics, etc. She will continue to coordinate that effort and if yours is missing, all you need to do is email her!
My continual thanks to Sawdust for taking on the posting, editing, designing, etc. that needed to be done to bring you the new pub pages! I do not have the same technical abilities with HTML as he does. It's just not my cup of tea. Seriously, we are all very fortunate that Sawdust is enjoying his #pub role. In addition, he has managed to slip into my life as someone I plan on spending a lot of time with!
Last my thanks go to my coworker Kip. Without him providing us the many services he offers the channel we would be in need of a spot to run Barbot from and return him to life when he gets confuzzled. This webspace is part of Kip's courtesy. And with some of us having cameras, setting up the reflector for the #PUB has added a new dimension to the IRC experience! I would encourage you to think about getting a camera, just to see the fools in the PUB! Live and in action! And I will always call Kip, SureKip with a bit of a smile! You all would be so lucky to have a System Administrator like him!
I have the easiest job in the PUB ... sitting back in my la-z-boy drinking my guinness. It's only because of the talented and gifted folks that our the channel regulars! *Cheers*
