I'm 35 years old, been online since 1982 but only into IRC for two years now. A friend steered me to the #pub in spring of 1998, and I've been popping in ever since. I can also be found in #scotland.
As my nick hints, I play the highland bagpipe, and have done so for 35 years. I teach others out of my home, and also have traveled to Ontario, Iowa,and Florida in the past year to teach at weekend seminars. I play pipes and whistles in a celtic band called Spiraldanse, a five piece band whose members range from Michigan to Pennsylvania. We plan to have a new CD out by the end of the year.
I enjoy the people of the #pub, and have been fortunate enough to meet Kimba and Gollygee in person.
